The Department of Energy (DoE), in conjunction with the Renewable Energy Market Transformation (REMT) Unit at the Development Bank of SA, hosted a National Solar Water Heating (SWH) workshop in February 2009. The workshop aimed to consolidate information on the various solar water heating (SWH) initiatives in the country into a National Solar Water Heating Framework and Implementation Plan. This was presented at a meeting on 5 November 2009 to a group of 500 delegates constituting various stakeholders in the SWH industry.

Stakeholders and interested parties are invited to submit comments on the draft framework outlined in the document below by 20 November 2009.
